does anybody know of any kai ken rescues in TEXas or the surrounding states?

I don't think there's any kais in rescue in the US.

There is a breeder in Ohio that had a Kai litter born in Dec. http://www.shikokudog.com/nihonken\_013.htm I don't know the status of any of the pups, though.
