# Ahi Update: She finally got her "Fancy Pants"! We finally got Ahi's "brace" [aka "Fancy Pants"]. It's more like a hobble than a brace, it just prevents her legs from going to either side which will keep her from stretching out her torn rotator cuff. She has been in a rather small crate while we were waiting for her brace to come in - we had to keep her from jumping up or pacing too much since that will end up hurting her more. We are waiting for a response from a rehabilitation specialist who is familiar with these Fancy Pants, hopefully she will give us an idea of how much she should wear them and for how long. Ahi looks like she doesn't mind the new gear at all! Sure, it shouldn't have happened but I'm so glad she got out in the snow and snuck in a little play time with the other doggies! Seems like the only thing she's minding is the lead! All my healing energies and thoughts are coming Ahi's way... she looks like she needs to heal and get on with her life as a full-fledged "leader of the pack!"...
