I didn't notice how HUGE and fluffy Toby's tail is! It's bigger than his whole body, hehehehehe. Sooooooo cute. You all know, I have fluff envy. Mika chased her tail when she was a pup. Sadly, she's grown out of it. *sniff*

Wow. I agree with Barbara, I did not notice until now how fluffy his tail is! No wonder he wants to chase it all the time, it is beautiful! Nola has just started to chase her tail. It is super cute! And everyonce in a while, Bella will regress, and chase her tail, too. Now if only I could get them both to do it at the same time and shoot some video!

LOL that is so funny! Agreed - Toby has a pretty fluffy tail! Portia used to do this when she was a pup. It was super hilarious because she really couldn't get anywhere close to catching it since it was docked.

I didn't realize that ... other people's Shibas have such smaller tails, either! :D I just thought Toby's tail was rather normal. Well, not too normal, its supposed to curl up onto his back end, but instead it just curls in a circle ontop of his butt. I remember going to the pet store a month ago, and some lady who owned two Shibas told me that Toby was omgRARE because his tail is a double curl? That made no sense at all. The 'double curl' doesn't even conform to the Shiba AKC standard?

Bella's tail will sometimes do a double curl if she is super duper happy. But most of the time, it is just in a single tight curl. But Toby's tail is beautiful. Big and fluffy! :)
