# Happy New Year -- all the best in 2009! (and lots of spam - Josephine and winter scenes)

Hi -- Here are some videos and photos of our past week at the farm. It was a relatively quiet week (very few people around). The weather brought us everything to be expected of a Mn winter, from sub-zero temps (with the sun) to fresh snow fall of nice powder, and beautiful warm (for MN winter) days…

Hi -- Here are some videos and photos of our past week at the farm. It was a relatively quiet week (very few people around). The weather brought us everything to be expected of a Mn winter, from sub-zero temps (with the sun) to fresh snow fall of nice powder, and beautiful warm (for MN winter) days in the mid-20's. There was abundant snow and lots of outdoor time for doggy "girls" like Josephine who just "wanna have fun"! She chased partridge, bothered a mouse to death, and had an exuberant time with a black lab that came to visit! Here she is tracking some animal -- squirrel, bunny? -- and then deciding she does not want to be left behind! This is Josephine in a different area of the woods --- Josephine in the pines --- Josephine in search of something under the swamp grass --- A couple winter scenes -- enjoy! Among other things we are grateful for a fine wood/propane furnace to warm the house! Yes, that is a 90+ degree difference between outside temperature and indoor temperature! On New Years Day it got to be 26 degrees above zero! Amazing weather swings we've had! (Sorry for the photo quality!) Josephine relaxing (can you spell comatose!) --- after a long day in the woods and snowshoeing with us! And on the 12th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me --- a partridge in a pear (maybe aspen?) tree --- Once again Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you also. Josephine sure does have the life with all of that land up there.

The scenery is beautiful, and Josephine is making the best of it! I really like the fist winter scene and the partridge.

Happy New Year to you as well. Thanks for the spam. I love seeing Josephine "in her element". :-)

Thanks to you all for the comments and compliments. Sorry I never give you any spam from the boring city! We all love it when we can get away to the country, but nowhere near as much as Josephine does!

I'm late to this, but happy new year Bev! I really enjoyed your videos of Josephine in the snow. She reminds me a lot of Kona, but more feminine... she's really cute - and so lucky to have such an amazing place to run around! Thanx for the spam! :o) ----
