# Oh the waiting! Soon to be shiba inu owner.

Well a few more months my little shiba inu puppy should be born I can't wait, but I'm also happy to wait it gives me time to work with Isabella and train her so far she plays well with other dogs does the butt sniff and plays.

I'm leaning on naming her Saya means swift arrow in Japanese I think it…

Well a few more months my little shiba inu puppy should be born I can't wait, but I'm also happy to wait it gives me time to work with Isabella and train her so far she plays well with other dogs does the butt sniff and plays.

I'm leaning on naming her Saya means swift arrow in Japanese I think it's also a main character on a anime Blood+ I just like that name was thinking of a few other names, but this one sounds good.

I have pretty much everything ready for the puppy toys, chews, and bed only thing I need to get is a crate, raised food bowl, and a harness and collar.

I already have a small harness I got for Bella so I plan to use it on Saya since this is too big for Bella now, but once Saya gets bigger I'd like to get a bigger harness I've seen the puppia harness and it looks nice would this be a good harness to get for a shiba and a boxer? If so what type to get my past dogs just had normal nylon harness, but the puppia looks nice and comfortable for dogs so I thought I'd try that one or a different harness.

I'd like to thank everyone for the help I've learned alot about the Nihon ken from this forum, about feeding better food brand to dogs and I enjoy seeing all of your dogs pictures they help me keep me busy when I'm not walking Bella or training her. =)

I personally like the Lupine brand harnesses. They have a lifetime warranty, even if they are chewed! Sadie and Triton (Shibas) both love their Lupines, they allow for a comfortable fit with no digging in.

Thanks alot Blood+ is one of my favorite anime I wish there was a artbook for it too..

I've seen the lupine collars and harness only at the vet thanks for the advice.

I'm still deciding on a harness when I had my past dogs I just got normal harness, but I saw a puppia on this forum so I didn't know if they were any better.

I've been looking on the puppia site is there anyone who uses these might share their experiances with it?
