As Shiba Rescue volunteers, we have decided to make an online map that charts the location of Shiba lovers willing to help with transports, home evaluations, fostering, etc. If you are willing to help with the transportation of any needy Shibas (even if it's only a short distance), pull a Shiba from a shelter, do a home evaluation, or help in some other way, PLEASE add yourself to the map!!! This will help coordinate transports, fostering, etc. for Shibas who need our help!

I set one of those up for MSIR a few years back when I was the transport coordinator.  I wonder if their website is a little less clunky these days.

Is the "visitor, girls, guys" option supposed to reveal your sex or the sex of the dogs you'd be willing to take in? I'm confused.

How often are they going to need help out in CA?  It doesn't look like there's much activity there... Do they contact you by email if they need help?
