It looks like it isn't a very sought after breed. Too much of a mix of too many other dogs. As that dog in the photo appears to resemble extremely closely to a Shikoku Ken, just tall, narrow and long. Interesting. Some of my relatives thought that Stokes my chow mix looked like a Sanshu when they saw pictures of him. I looked into the Sanshu and they are extremely rare and aren't being pushed to be saved like the 6 or so nationally recognized breeds. ## Chanur Akita · 2008-04-06T07:40:06.000Z I confirm, it's a photo of Shikoku Ken.
