I've since decided that he's probably 7-8 years young. In my search, I found this really cool site, listing quite old shibas with their info, a sort of golden oldies directory. I've met a few of those dogs. #18 - Cole was Nemo's foster brother. He is a really good old Shiba.

# 48 Ch.Tenshinmaru Go Etchuu Wakasugisou (Tenshin) is Ike's Great Grandsire on his dam's side.

I love that list. It is really neat to see how Ike may age. I think shibas age really well in general, maybe they fade a little in the face depending on the lines, but what hardy little dogs.
