My female Akita is 11 weeks old and full of fun I have a concern regarding her tail it seems to be down a lot and this is worrying me, These are my first Akita's so it might be natural when it is up it's really curly, Ozzy's tail is always up, she tends to keep it down when Ozzy is around, we have made sure that there is no tail damage is this right or should I be as worried as I am can any one help.

If her tail is down only around your other pup maybe she's showing submission? Does her tail look unnatural when it's down? Is there any way you could take a snapshot of it? It could just be a phase of puppy hood, I'll let all the akita owners answer this one xD~

as a shiba owner, usually their tail is down when they are nervous or unsure of something. Its not always a bad thing, but when I see their tails uncurled I'm always trying to figure out why.

Ozzy is getting a sexual at the moment and is trying to hump everything in sight at the moment, we was also thinking may be it a dominance thing
