# Say hello to Kaeda (Photos)

I didn't want to post any photos until I was 99% sure that I was going to get her. If all goes according to plan I will be going to pick her up on Thursday. She is a 12 weeks old and I had a choice between her and her brother. Can't wait for thursday :) 11 weeks 8 weeks 4 weeks Momma

Ok, stupid question alert. lol I really dont know much at all about akitas, but I thought that their ears were droopy when they were born? In the first pic (11 weeks) it looks like the pup's ears are up. Someone share some knowledge! hahaha

Very true Katie! In the 8 week picture her ears look droopy, but in the 11 week pic, they are up! Maybe she just developed her cartalidge faster? That is one BEAUTIFUL dog! Congrats!

Congrats! What a stunning little girl!! Katie, it depends a lot on the individual pup, how much vitamins & nutrients s/he's being fed, & how small his/her ears are ;) Plus, they will sporadically go up & down, so those might have just been "up" moment pictures :) ~
