I would think that "technically" she already has her double coat, as for when it will really fill in, I don't know for sure as I have never had a puppy. However, I have noticed that Nemo's coat still seems to get a bit thicker every year as he gets older. The FURminator is a great tool to use when your dog is shedding. It is not an everyday brush though. You can use it two times a week or so during shedding.
