It's very funny and my Akita loooooooooove to go at the canine club: because we play a lot: I "work" with lot of play for my Akita Inu. Senseï (5 month old, Kahuna's sister): Senseï with a friend: Ashitaka, my red stud (3 years old) Bara, in agility (female, 2 and a half years old) Bara really love Agility, she's crazy when she's doing agility with me!! hahaha

I absolutely LOVE Bara, she's stunning! :) Sensei has the same face as Kahuna :) What a pretty girl!~

Bara is beautiful and looks very talented at the agility course. How old is Bara? I have thought of agility for Josephine but have understood a dog should be about 3 years before getting started. Is this true? Thanks for sharing the pics of the doggies, and Sensei looks like she is enjoying the trip to the park, too.

Thanks all for your nice comments :-)) baanton: Bara has 2 and a half years old. I start Agility when the dog has 1 and a half year old. Because of that: The dog 'll have excellent obediance before starting Agility. It's important. Brad: I want to have happy Akita Inu. I teach them with lot of play, like for Kahuna. It's excellent to motivate them good. Play in obediance and Agility is the better teaching I found for Japanese dogs, and it's cool to have happy Akita at home ;-P (I hope you understund me, i'm not sure of my english, sometimes.... *_*)

I just love your pack! Once we move, I'm going to start searching for agility for Mika. I think she would be amazing at it!

Thanks for the photos. All your dogs are just lovely and they are a testament to your hard work and their great personalities .

One does not see Akita used in agility or many in obedience competitions in the U.S. I think that's such a shame. It would be nice to see that kind of dedication for the breed here.

I know most of the Nihon can do really well with the right handler and a positive training.

Thanks for sharing, you are an inspiration.
