What the F#c#? That's some way to preserve a "National treasure"!!! And this a luxurious one, I can't even imagine how a "normal" one is...How can they have healthy dogs both physically and mentally, like this? Unless they take them out for exercise frequently, I can't possibly imagine...

There's always gonna be bad in with the good. I'm a bit skeptical to believe that every single breeder in Japan has such small quarters for their dogs.

Considering the size of hotel rooms in business hotels in Japan, from that perspective this isn't that far off.  Also compared to the website linked in that other thread, this is luxury for the dogs.

Do I find this ideal?  Not really, I think dogs should be on couches in houses.  Do I find it acceptable?  I guess so as Dave mentioned it is clean, and it does appear that they are exercising the dogs (playing in a big kennel, running along with a bike).

wow. just wow. although, this is a lot nicer of a place than they raided where my Tsuki came from. At least it doesn't look like a hamster cage.

All of japanese breeder have not that style of kennel, ;-) but a lot of them have that.....

In town, Akita breeder have some dogs in family in the district. But it's a traditional kennel for Akita Inu....

Yeah, definitely not my way of doing things, but it does look like they receive appropriate care.
