So, last week we hotel-ed it for 4-5 days and traveled, went from Port Angeles to Salem, then onto Portland to see Evan and Keiko and back to dreary old Seattle. Got some fun, if not very in focus pics of the dogs in our various locations.

Beebe and Ike were on Rescue Remedy for some of the trip to PA, so they look a little loopy. Beebe has a little "HypnoToad" from Futurama thing going on and Ike looks like an alien. We also forgot the can opener, so we had to improvise and ended up with potentially lethal results...

While we were walking on the pier, Beebe happened to decide to suddenly jump thru the chains and over the edge. I'm glad she was wearing her harness. I caught the handle and was hollering while my mom was merrily snapping away with the camera. Another way harnesses can save lives I guess.

Lastly, some park pictures. It was early in the morning so we are the only ones :(

Beebe is deciding she wants to be a Cattle Dog and stalk Ike, he pretends not to notice but it's all a game.

Great pictures. Where did you purchase the collar Ike is wearing, it's very nice?

So what is in the other can....looks like it says cheesy rabbit or is that Ravoli (LOL) ??

Snf

LOL I thought it said cheesy rabbit too!!! We tried that brand of mac and cheese once... it kinda tasted 'plant-y' (that's James' word for things that taste like they could be good for him... aka vegetables).

Annie's Cheesy Ravioli, yummy organic deliciousness. Not made with rabbits.

I picked up the collar and lead from a vendor at the dog show a few weeks ago. It was a really nice buy and I am angry that I didn't get a few more. It is turning out to be my favorite lead and collar, and durable. I think it was from "Haute Dauge" in Oregon, they don't have a web page, so I will just have to bump into them at the next show. The lead and noose were $50 with tax but worth it so far.

Plant-y? It is yummy, they also make instant mac/microwave kind in packets. Bunnies are for petting and for dogs to eat, not for people to make ravioli out of-ew!

Mmmmmm. Cheesy Rabbit. Yum. j/k. That actually sounds kinda gross. Was that a dog park you were in? The fence looks kinds wimpy.

Is that Grandview? I used to play soccer there when I was a little kid!

## lindsayt · 2009-01-30T09:31:39.000Z
Hey, long time no chat. How is your kiddo, Taiko? It is Grandview, it's an off leash dog park now, really pretty especially in the AM, lots of rabbits (not in cans) to chase. The "fencing" isn't the sturdiest, no gates, but there is metal fence behind the wood. I always see bigger dogs hopping it. Hence why Ike has the drag line and why I avoid the "rush hour".

awesome pics - though they really do look spacey on rescue remedy. Kitsu NEVER gets that spacey! How much do you give them!??

Cough, just a few drops :)

I think part of it was the person taking the pictures that made them look weird.

Dashpoint Park Hike pictures from last Sunday. The dogs wanted to eat the sea birds.

## lindsayt · 2009-04-26T06:07:04.000Z
Went to Dash Point park last Sunday. Great weather, the dogs went clamming. I noticed Ike limping on his front left that night, but didn't see anything. Monday morning, I saw he had cut his pad on the "ring finger" toe, but it was such a tiny cut. I brought him to work and they had difficulty even seeing the cut and his limp magically disappeared (white coat syndrome) so we were sent away after a little cleaning/vita E and antibiotic spray for home. He continued to favor the front off/on (almost imperceptably) thru the week and mope around even with the treatments and rest. It appeared to resolve yesterday, but while cleaning it this AM, I saw a tiny white shard of clam shell imbedded way up into the itty bitty cut. He let me tweeze it out, not one word from him. After it was out, he jumped off my lap, shook it off, and was back to his usual happy self. Poor boy, he was walking around with that poking into his toe with every step for nearly a week!

whoa, poor Ike! But good find, Lindsay! Looks like they had a blast on the beach! Beebe is so pretty, she reminds me a lot of my Kitsune in some pics!

## cmmookie · 2009-04-26T14:45:36.000Z
Ouch! I can't believe he just let you get up in there and tweeze it out. What a good boy!!

## Darwin67 · 2009-04-26T15:23:04.000Z
Dash point is awesome, great pictures!! Sorry to hear about your little fella...lucky boy that you found it before it could get infected!

## Kirbysmom · 2009-04-27T23:24:47.000Z
Great pix.

Awww, poor little Ikeums!!! I am glad that he let you remove that.
