While it is geared to what I call softer breeds (and therefore aren't always effective on hard-headed or high prey drive breeds), there are still good pointers.

The biggest one is drop or give. I've always taught this to all my dogs from the get-go. Using a low value item, I trade them for a high value reward. This has always assured me that my dogs will give up anything they have. It can be a life-saver.

There are other very good tips and observations, so if you have itunes, an ipod, or can get to their website, I recommend giving it a chance.

"Leave it", "drop it",  and "give" are the commands Nikkei is currently working on - mixed with some frisbee catching.  I agree with you Michelle - these commands can be life-savers

Yes - I agree as well. "Leave it" works for anything really, if Ahi is being a bit to rough with the Shibas we tell her to "Leave it" and she stops.
