# Saw a Hokkaido today!

Or at least I think it was one, it looked like one, and was bigger than a shiba. We saw it while driving to Walmart. here's what it looked like that's not the one i saw, i was in a car and unprepared, but it looks just like it. :D i was so excited.

that is possible too. it had little peachy-orangey-ness on the back of its ears. I'm not sure what exactly it was, since i didn't get to ask, but it was exciting none the less :D its odd how you notice dogs more when you want one. THEY TEMPT ME SO!!!

White Shikoku also can have the peachy orange ears too. Kuma's brother was white and he definitely had cream colored ears. But a Shikoku's face shape is different from the dog you posted above. Peggy (Ikon) has had several litters and each litter has had at least 1 white Shikoku. FWIW.

oh wow, interesting : ) well it was medium sized and definately a Nihon Ken. I'm still a noob at identifying :P so idk for sure.

Not a 100% but it could be possibly. we do seem to have a lot of shiba for such a small area. there is always a new young shiba puppy at the puppy town when i go in, and i've seen several already, i just haven't seen a creamy yet. I thought it was a Hokka cause it was bigger than a shiba gets, looked about the size of a lab, maybe slightly smaller.

He's like a Kishu, but big body. Kishu or Shiba mix... or jindo mix! it's difficult to say but with your description, he look like a japanese dog :-))
