Maybe he wants to join? He's undergoing heartworm treatment, which means he has very low to no exercise until he is given the OK by the vet (probably in May). However, he's a young and otherwise healthy dog, and I want him to do something.. I always see doggies going in there (although I don't see anything mentioned about doggy toga on their signs). I've been doing some massaging techniques on him daily as well (using an archived Whole Dog Journal article as a guide). In theory, this should be fun with any dog, but my shibas are so not into it...
