He's never acted like it really bothers him other than the occasional Shiba shake during recent walks. Vet's office said to keep it on 24 X 7 for a week (the standard instructions actually say 10 days!). So it stays on til Friday. At first, the idea of that seemed so horrible, but it's amazing how well dogs can adapt. I just help him eat and drink by lifting the bowl slightly into his cone and holding it while he eats. Have to limit his activity to walks for about as long as the cone stays on -- which kind of works together. Can't and shouldn't do much running around with that thing on anyway. I used Windows Movie Maker to make it. It allows you to drag a video clip right through a picture and stretch a picture out for the length of time you want it to appear.
