I needed to get an orthopedic bed for Roxy's crate. To give me some time to research for a better one, I made this temporary bed a few days ago. I just bought one twin-size mattress pad (also called an "egg crate" pad) and cut it into 3 24"x16" rectangles. I piled them on top of each other and used it to stuff two pieces of 26"x20" fabric panels. (I added batting-stuffed bolsters onto Roxy's bed but didn't put them on Ryu's bed) Sew all four edges to complete. Voila! I put a fleece blanket on Roxy's since she is closest to the air vent. DEFINITELY! ## brandon_w (admin) · 2009-05-06T14:31:49.000Z Nemo's crate bed is made with a Tempurpedic mattress topper that is cut into strips, then covered with cloth, and then stuffed inside a protective heavy duty cloth cover. It's something that you could easily do, I paid someone for it. I have one for Miko and one for my cats (originally it was for Piglet, but our black label mattress is HER orthopedic bed LOL). They do make a crate style one.
