Are you sure you want something that promises boundless energy for all the dogs? Haha.

Holy bionic dog, batman! I'm not even as healthy as they say your dog will be! But in all seriousness, some of the ingredients are iffy, what vitamins exactly are added? 'natural flavorings' - of what? and the misc. trace minerals... Esp. if you are giving it to a dog that might have a sensitivity to higher zinc or vitamin A tox, you'd want to know if its there and how much. I guess I don't know much about how to spruce up a show dog, but if that's what you are looking to do, I guess this is specifically geared towards that goal.

We aren't getting this for showing the dogs - we were looking for a supplement to give to Ahi and Kona to improve on muscle joint recovery after packing. This was recommended by a few mushers. As for telling the amount of Vit. A or Zinc - do any other vitamin supplements tell that? Solid Gold certainly doesn't which is the multi vitamin we have been using. I'm not saying this is a perfect supplement, but it has enzymes, probiotics, MSM, glucosamine & chondroitin, zinc, and etc. It's nice that one supplement has those things in it instead of having to give your dog a million different supplements. ---- I joked about the boundless energy thing too. ----

That is a good company, I like them. I have been buying the K9 Go Dog and Super Fuel from them through www.k9power.com.

I'm just so nervous of any dog products out there today! So I guess for me I'd have to talk to someone, like Kelly above, who has been using them for a personal reference. The lack of truth in labeling is why I don't use a multi vitamin but do other research for foods that provide the essentials for them, I just feel more comfortable with that. But If Mushers recommended them for what you need, then there you go! Did you know chicken feet provide a great boost of glucosamine chondroitin?

I hear good things about NUPRO but admittedly I have never purchased it for my dogs. If you're looking for joint support, I would suggest Cosequin. It has been evaluated in clinical trials and unlike many of the human glucosamin/chondroitin sulfate supplements that are on the market, I have faith in their ingredients and label claims. "neutraceuticals" are sort of a black hole when it comes to regulation and label claims...

If you're looking for a supplement just for joint recovery, try Recovery. :) http://www.recoverysa.com/ If you plan on using a lot of it, I would recommend buying the horse formula because it's more cost-effective. Just send them an email and they'll tell you the dosing for canines.

We give all our dogs [and us] Velvet Elk Antler for long-term Joint care and health. With "K9 SHOW STOPPER / K9 GO DOG" we were looking for a good recovery supplement - we were turned on by this company because they seem to focus on sporting/active dogs. Its a bonus that it has probiotics and Enzymes too, imo. That Recovery supplement seems nice too - thanx Kyla! ----
