Awwww! Poor babe :( ~

Had to make room for his permanent teeth. His fang like baby teeth were not falling out on its own. The vet suggested that we remove them since he was under anesthesia anyways.

Caption: "I hate you so much right now. Once I am out of this pen, I'm going to poo on your bed." Shibas in cone collar make me laugh.

But he is so cute as a shiba lamp.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Nobu ---- and may his collar come off very soon ---- looks like he hates it so much!

Miso had to have 2 teeth pulled at his neuter. I guess it's common. Although someone on here had a tooth pulled and it was an adult tooth and now they have a Shiba one tooth down...I can't for the life of me remember who though. Nobu will recover quickly and be Shiba-tastic with his 'tude back in no time. Im SO not looking forward to Sake getting spayed and having to wear an e collar...

Kuma's baby canines took their sweet time to fall. The tips of the definitive upper canines were already showing when they did. It took some good rough sessions of tug of war to get them to come loose properly. Wishing Nobu a fast recovery!

LOL Osy! I fixed it, I never noticed how similar they were till you said something! Once again, wishing Nobu the best!

Hey Brian, Nobu looks just like he did with the bumblebee costume, "Why do you do these things to me?" Here's to him regaining his appetite today (surgery was yesterday right)? Lavish him with some extra love during his recovery time! The first time I saw the double canine happening to Ichi, I was in the elevator returning from a walk. As soon as I came back to the apt, I gave him an ice cube. Next thing I know, he's bleeding all over his chew toys because his canine teeth popped out. Man I love ice for teething pups. I just noticed his second lower canine came out this morning. Ichi now has both his out. He's kinda like an old man :P. I hear him licking his lips a lot undoubtedly because of his teething. Since Nobu had his teeth pulled out maybe some ice chewing will do him some good:) Jesse

Nola had the double canine on both of her bottom canines. She had them both pulled (plus one more) when she was spayed. Most vets will do it if they think there might be a chance they will not come out on their own at the time of speuter since the pup is going to be under anyway. Less anasthesia in the long run, the better. Glad to hear that Nobu is doing well. He will have his appetite back by tomorrow evening, I bet. And please, you must take more pictures of satellite Nobu. :)
