# How long will the teething last?

Just curious... I'm looking forward to there not being blood all over Mylie's toys, but I'm seriously evil for enjoying her constant snuggle time because she's in pain. So how long does it usually take for all the baby teeth to fall out? It's been about 2 weeks so far. Thanks!

I don't recall exactly with Joey, but I think it was about two weeks for the puppy teethe to fall out and then another two weeks or so for his adult teethe to finish coming in. His last two puppy teethe came out at exactly five months old and having just turned six months he's been done with his adult teethe coming in for at least a week, probably more (I stopped paying quite as close attention after a while). You aren't evil for enjoying the cuddle time. I enjoyed it too. :-P

Kuma was pretty much immune to his teething. I didn't notice any pain about, and he just kept spitting them out. The only ones that were a bit of trouble and some blood were the fangs. The upper baby fangs only came out when the adult ones were quite a bit out. If I remember it right, it took less than a month.

My Shiba started going through the heavy teething -- loosing baby teeth/bleeding gums/bad breath phase at about 4.5 months. It lasted about 3+ weeks from what I recall.
