Did she get spayed yet? I hope her vet check went well, hopefully? If she is in heat the little dog could still be attracted to her. If she was just spayed but in heat at the time, same rule applies. Make sure the little dog doesn't actually tie with her if she was recently spayed.

My dogs 69 all the time, I don't know why, maybe they are just making sure the other one gets a good whiff.

yup, the vet check went very well. he actually said that hes heard of occational vomiting/diahrea but because mine was rare (witness it once or twice in a week) he said that everything is okay. but we did go ahead and get her fecal checked out and everything did come back normal. she is just recently out of heat and i have a vet appointment next thursday for the spaying. thanks for sharing your advice!

with altered dogs humping during play is just that - a form of play. With the licking - its just behavior of dogs that are sharing space - ours do it all the time, standing over the other, licking each other etc - its not at all sexual, its more like cuddling I think?! :)

If she is recently out of heat, that could be a cause for the increased attention from your sister's dog. I agree with Jen though, it sounds like its purely play. Joey does this to Lucy constantly during play. He will walk up to her when she is lying down and gently nudge her with his butt. If she doesn't respond, he will straddle her and sometimes even sit on her head. It looks like he's trying to pee on her head. I find it hilarious. It never fails to put a smile on my face. Once Lucy has had enough, she will correct him and then try to hump his head. Joey will crouch down and then pop back up lifting Lucy completely off the ground. Also puts a smile on my face every time. So, to make a long story short, don't worry about it. As long as Kelly doesn't seem to mind it, I would jut let it happen. I do have to ask though...are you going to get her spayed?
