All our dogs love to rub on dead stuff. Pretty gross.

A "hip check" is a pretty creative way to tell you he wants to go out - that's funny.

Niko does that obsessively on EVERYTHING...even our other dog!  Our trainer told us that it is her trying to get the "scent" of other things on her.  Wild dogs would do it in nature to get the nature smell on them.  Niko does it with her toys, treats, bones, blankets, the carpet, live frogs and lizards and anytime she finds things of interest outside.

It's all about increasing and sharing the stink.  Nemo rolls in anything dead or smelly outside also.  One time he rolled in something and ended up with a sticky black streak on his head and back.  It stunk, horribly.

Those are great! Shibas are such clowns, I love it!

PS: When pasting the embed code from YouTube into a comment, click the little "html" button (second from left), and past the code into the popup window. If you past it directly into the text window it will display the actually code and not parse it... it's kinda a pain, but it's the best I could find. I got sick of posting links, so I added the SWF embed thing so we can past the videos directly.
