Today Jen and I went to a restaurant in the square and on our way back to our car we bumped into Yoshi, the Akita Inu we met about a year ago while walking around town. Yoshi is a VERY sweet girl, she is super obedient and loving. She was bred by some buddhist here in Taos that live in the canyon. I was really excited to see them again. Jen bumped into them last weekend too at the wool festival and Yoshi and Fuji got to meet each other, I was told they did really well together. Here is a pic I took with my phone of Yoshi: It is so rare to see another Akita Inu, I love that in this tiny little town there are a few! :o) ----

Isn't Yoshi the one that inspired the desire to get Lani?! :)

That's so cool. I'm actually impressed that you have met another Akita in Taos. I've only met one my entire time in Atlanta. How old is She? She looks a little bit older.

I think she was 3 years old, I'm not 100% on that tho. I am going to contact her breeder to go and meet with him some day, I'll be sure to let you guys know how it goes. ----
