# How many Akita can fit under a desk?

If I know Brad's office as well as I think I do, the little shiba spot should be to the left. There is no subwoofer in that area.

will fuji end up as puffy as hilo? or are coat/appearance differences that great between male and female akitas?

Brandon is right, the Shiba area is to the right [stage left] of Lani's head. Fuji is getting more fluffy, she had blown her puppy coat right before she came to us. Having said that, she will probably have shorter hair than Hilo, Hilo has his dad's coat and it appears Fuji has a slightly longer version of her mom's coat. So we expect her coat to be similar in texture to Hilo's but a bit shorter. Lani has the same coat as Hilo, not quite as thick but just as long - so its not a sex difference thing, just a bloodlines thing. Hilo is really very fluffy. Lika, Fuji's mom, has a different type from Lani & Hilo.

We just had them weighed... Hilo: 70lb @ 1.5 years (Hilo is small for a male) Lani: 50lb @ 8 months (we expect Lani to be ~70lb) Fuji: 40lb @ 6 months (we expect Fuji will be bigger than Lani) ----
