Niccolo is definitely cute. We applied to NYC Shiba Rescue early last week, hopefully we'll get a response soon. T needs a calm female friend and we were looking at Pixie and Bella.

Pixie is cute, she reminds me of our old neighbor's Shiba named Babes. All fluffy. Jen, I am in love with Ruby.

Me, too, Kristin! She was available via Dogster adoption for about a year, then taken into NYCSR. I met her with her original owner in NJ last year. She is a beauty!

Ruby is a sweetie but her info says she should be the only animal I think. Or maybe she shouldn't be around small animals? I can't remember. I just know that one thing about her wasn't compatible with our current animals. We have a male Shiba and a parrot. Triton, our Shiba, loves smaller female dogs as long as they are calm and friendly. We think he might like a friend as he is sad when my mom's Shiba visits and then leaves. He even gave her his favorite toy once, it was SO cute!!
