# ATL Meetups - Updated with Aug pics We just had our July meetup for the Atlanta Shiba group. We were inside at Best Friend's Dog Care, which was great since it was so hot - it got up to 94 degrees today. We had 21 people, I think, and a total of 18 dogs, 14 of which were shibas. Several of our usual members (read DAVE here) were out of town or we would have easily had 20 shibas there. Since it is so hot and muggy in August as well, we'll be inside then, too. We had relatively little snarkiness overall. We were laughing at one shiba - Sadie, who played "tattletale" on two other shibas. Everytime that they would get close and begin rough-housing, Sadie would give an alarm shriek. It was very funny. I was concerned about the other drama as well, but there no show there, because of not having joined the new group. Already been a feel growls and steals. They LOVE the chocolate and dinosaur. Anything your kids dont want pass it on!! ; ) Sasha did do really good, she stayed there until we released her.
