seriously? parvo?

Recently there seems to have been a lot of dog deaths from parvo in my area (I live in north TX). The owners claim that their dogs had been vaxinated for it as puppies. If that's the case, how the hell are they still getting it?

    There is a strainof parvo that is immune to the vaccine, so it could be that. Or the dog didn't build up a proper immune response from the vaccine, so still ended up being susceptible to the virus.

    Oh wow, I didn't realize that. Most of those dogs were adults though, so I'm sure their systems would've had enough time to build up immunity.
