In the passed there has been discussions about feeding time [when feeding multiple dogs]... So I figured I would record our feeding time just to show our routine...

how efficient! You started doing it that way from when your first got each one and they all just follow suit?
Ours are starting to get used to it, although our male shiba still doesn't think he should have to be in his crate to eat. But it is much more efficient.

So cool and calm. Love it.

Brad where did you get Maui's crate? I like how it looks compared to the average crate.

I am so impressed. Being that Piggy can't be crated (too much trauma from the shelter) we feed the two big kids on leash and miko in crate and that seems to work.

Really cool to see. You guys are a well oiled machine.

I have the same baby gate for my stairs to keep the dogs and cats separate.

Thanx guys, well... Jen should say thanx I don't do anything. lol.

Maui's crate is pretty old - they are cool, the flatten down but they are a pain in the ass to put back together. I don't think they make them anymore - I just did a search.

Jessica - That's interesting you feed them on leash, I never thought about that... good way to have them out but be able to restrain them if needed. interesting.

We didn't have to do it that way until we moved. Piglet regressed a bit from the stress of the move and was trying to eat Motos food too. So I simply put her on leash. Once she knows it's on she behaves perfectly because she knows she can't sneak past me. It keeps tensions low. The other thing we do is one of us take the two big dogs outside while the other house human prepares their food. That way their is no building anticipation.

All your guys are so nice and calm at mealtime. I could imagine a crazy scene if even one dog got too excited. You and Jen have them so nicely trained.
