Video of recent winds and Rudi enjoying the weather
Hi all,
I have never recorded video on my digital camera before. I am not even sure I will know how to post a video (youtube), but I will try.
Both of these videos were taken yesterday during our wind storms. It appears rather mild but I think that the video is just capturing it that way. It got up to 40-50 mph during its peak moments. Rudi doesn't seem to mind winds.
Here is Rudi being his usual self
Hopefully that went through fine. In time I am certain I will get a bit better at taking video.
Ron

You got some real wind there, huh?
As for the winds, I can attest to them, they were REALLY bad!
It was 90 degrees here on Sunday, 80 on Monday, 65 and windy on Tuesday, then Wednesday it snowed!

The thing that really concerns me is when he actually sees rain, or when we get the monsoons in July and August. It will pour until the water reaches the footings of the house and the mud is like gumbo, but the one thing is the thunder can roar across the desert and shake the house (literally). Woodie, my last dog, he would shake and get all upset when the thunder would quake. I am hoping if I do not make a big deal out of it, or make a game out of it, that he may not be as effected by it.
Does anyone else's shibas go bonkers during a thunderstorm? How have you managed it ? (such as turning up music or something).
We have not had rain here in Las Cruces since this past November. We almost got some rain this week but it was more like a mist for about 10 minutes.
