Man that first sled dog shot made me smile! So cute! The Shiba is so small next to the other dogs but I bet he pulls just as hard and fast!
As for the first pic - that boar is HUGE! Its funny [not a Shiba thing, but still funny], Jen and I always joke about how we could see Ahi hunting a boar w/ no problems but we could NEVER see Lao hunt a boar... she is so sweet. lol. She would probably just want to play with the boar!
Those pics are great - I dunno where you get all these amazing pictures but I LOVE that you share them with us!
Ktrebor they are such an inspiration, thanks for the info reminding us of that the can do so many things. Trainers in the U.S. have been slow to come around in the thinking that spitizies have training merit.
I wonder if the Shiba that is used for drug searches came from a breeder or was a random dog he picked up. Also I wonder what he did that is/was so effective in training that made them such a good team for detection work.
Also, I recently saw "flame" on animal planet show "dogs with jobs" aired here in America. Awesome dogs that's for sure!
In the picture Shiba with sled dogs, what are the white dogs toward the back, Sammies?

My Shiba naps, he's pretty happy with that hobby.
maybe squirrel hunting?
i love the sled shibas! how fun!
Toby's job is to be lazy, and be cute. Go on hikes and carry nothing.

I didn't really notice before, but that boar is HUGE.
Super cool shots. Moto and Nemo seem to have similar hobbies. Perhaps they should join a napping forum.
Ktrebor, are you perhaps my secret photo fairy godparent?
Would I be risking my extremely good fortune by petulantly stamping my feet and begging for more?
But a miniature sleigh with Shiba Inus - not deer.
Sorry, I couldn't hold it in.
