He chased a cat into the bush, in which there was a broken window for some reason. He cut his leg up really bad and lost a lot of blood. Poor guy went into shock from the blood loss. He spent two nights at the vet and a week with a cone on. It's healing up nicely though, and he decided to pull a few of the staples out. Cone went back on after he did that. He's been good since, though.
Jack is now 5 months old. I'm away at university so I asked my mom to take some pictures for me. I apologize for the poor quality.

"A treat? I'll pay attention now."
"Mooom, turn off the flash!"
"Can I have the treat now?"
I forgot to mention that his demodex treatment is going well. He's responding excellently to the ivermectin with no negative side effects. His bald patches are no longer scaley and red, and the hair is beginning to grow back.
I love him! Sasha was raised with a house full of boxers so no matter where we are or who we are with...if she sees a boxer she gets carefree and excited. She even has the boxer wiggle but and does a lazy boxing. I love boxers but I think they are way too high energy for me. Captain Jack is so darn adorable!
Jack is the calmest boxer I've ever met, and that's saying a lot since he's only 5 months old! He prefers to sleep most of the day, elsewise he will sit and chew on things (that he's supposed to chew!) He is very enthusiastic though, and it totally brightens my day.
I will definitely own a boxer in the future, but mine will be a rescue and not a breeder dog.

And a recent(ish) one:
I haven't taken any lately, because our camera is misplaced and I don't want conehead pictures.

Glad to hear his treatments are going well.
BTW, how could you not call a dog that looks like him spot? :-P
It's great that he's responding well to the ivermectin.
