Seriously, love the eyepatch too. Was that the inspiration for his name?

    He's really cute!

The litter was "Pirates of the Caribbean" themed. He has a brother named Orlando and a sister named Keira. We thought it suited him, so we kept it.

Man, puppies are so frickin adorable! Boxer puppies are all gangly and discombobulated too. So cute!

A few more I took just today. You can see the staples in his leg.

Perhaps I missed this, but why does he have staples in his leg?
  • edited November -1
I was wondering the same thing. :-/

He chased a cat into the bush, in which there was a broken window for some reason. He cut his leg up really bad and lost a lot of blood. Poor guy went into shock from the blood loss. He spent two nights at the vet and a week with a cone on. It's healing up nicely though, and he decided to pull a few of the staples out. Cone went back on after he did that. He's been good since, though. :)

Aww, poor guy. He's way too cute to have to deal with that. :-(

He must have really been running hard after that cat. It is good that he is healing up nicely now.

sounds like something roxy would do heh, glad to hear he's healing good, he's really cute.

Jack is now 5 months old. I'm away at university so I asked my mom to take some pictures for me. I apologize for the poor quality.

"A treat? I'll pay attention now."

"Can I have the treat now?"

I forgot to mention that his demodex treatment is going well. He's responding excellently to the ivermectin with no negative side effects. His bald patches are no longer scaley and red, and the hair is beginning to grow back. :)

Hehe. He's in that gangly discombobulated puppy stage. I love it! :-)

Glad to hear his treatments are going well.

BTW, how could you not call a dog that looks like him spot? :-P

    It's an eyepatch. He's a pirate, lol. :P

    Pirates have spotted noses? :-P
  • edited November -1
Maybe they do. Have you ever seen a pirate? :P

    He's so cute & long-legged! Reminds me of a horse foal :) ~

He's a very cute guy! The eye patch cracks me up.

It's great that he's responding well to the ivermectin.

I love him! Sasha was raised with a house full of boxers so no matter where we are or who we are with...if she sees a boxer she gets carefree and excited. She even has the boxer wiggle but and does a lazy boxing. I love boxers but I think they are way too high energy for me.
Captain Jack is so darn adorable!

    Such a cute puppy.

Love his spotted little nose! :) He is absolutely adorable.

Jack is the calmest boxer I've ever met, and that's saying a lot since he's only 5 months old! He prefers to sleep most of the day, elsewise he will sit and chew on things (that he's supposed to chew!) He is very enthusiastic though, and it totally brightens my day. :)

I will definitely own a boxer in the future, but mine will be a rescue and not a breeder dog.
