Neuter
Frost got neutered on Friday 8/15. He is doing very well. still on couple of medications for 2-3 days. But he has already rebounded well and wants to be active. will take it slow for another 3-4 days.. just walk and no running.
his health exam went very well. is is now 25lbs 15-16 inches tall and I think he has stabilized his height/weight. Probabaly his growth spurt is done. will add 1-2 inches/4-5 lbs more over the year per doc. He has not shed his puppy coat yet.
I promise, I will post some of his recent pictures. Got lot of those but not getting time to upload/post.
also thinking seriously to get rid of invisible fence (which he does not like) and get 5ft chainlink fence for backyard. is 5ft enough?
as usual thanks for all the insight you folks give.

fence wise, i always look at what the shibas can do acrobatically in the house, they can clear the 4 foot back of a couch, and I really think that the upwards of 6 foot chain link fence would post a greater obstacle for them. But I think this all depends on the dog, too - if you think 5 feet will contain him, that it probably will do better than a 4 foot high one!
I think that 5 feet is minimal. Now my Niko is petrified of heights and doesnt jump (very abnormal for Shiba) but I wouldnt risk it. If we were to build a fence, knowing we will have more shiba's I wouldnt go by Niko standards but shiba standards.
