I'm trying to get back into drawing. I haven't done anything artistic in a looong time due to a phobia (long story). Anyway, I sketched Rakka with some charcoal... yeesh, I'm rusty.

Love the picture of Isaac and Skella! And your charcoal drawing is actually pretty good! And charcoal is a hard medium to work with.

Rusty? I don't think so. I wish I could be half as rusty as you are. :-P

Skella got pretty dirty there huh? In that shot with Ridley(?) she looks like she's half covered in mud. A little romp in the lake perhaps?

    That drawing is great!

Skella really fit in nice, didn't she? She has a very sweet face.

Nice photos of the pups and kids.
Your drawing looks really nice, do get that phobia out of the way and get back at the artistic stuff, cause your "rusty" looks good.

Dave - Skella gets way dirtier than the other two because her fur is longer and much softer, not coarse and natural. She cleans herself up pretty good, though. She'll come back covered in mud and burrs, then she cleans herself like a cat and picks out the burrs. I'm so glad, too, because otherwise I'd have to bathe her daily!

Brad - I think Skella fits in great, too. She's a lovely compliment to the bratty shiba and shikoku attitudes and she puts everyone at ease. Her playful, carefree nature really rubs off on them and everyone is more obedient, too. Couldn't have asked for a better pup to complete the pack (for now).

Thanks for the compliment on the drawing. I certainly should practice more. Charcoal can be a pain in the butt, but it's the least phobia-ish for me. I have ocd, so it's tough sometimes to deal with irrational fears of ordinary objects. :-/
