Low Maintenance

Hey all, hope everyone is doing well <3

---

Ok. People are CRAZY! There's a website I frequent called deviantart.com It's an awesome site I've been on for about 7 years where basically you can post your art, stories, web designs, photographs, etc. & get comments / critiques on them. It's an excellent site & I highly recommend it.

But I digress. Someone posted <a href="http://blu3corner.deviantart.com/art/mao-mao-96268495" target="_blank">the cutes picture of a puppy. Well, somone commented wanting to know the breed, saying they were looking into getting a dog...& you know what someone esle responded???

"Hey mate, Shiba Inus are probably one of the cutest and low maintenance dogs around. You should look 'em up. [ link to google images of shibas ]"

Really now! No dog, is low maintenance. I mean, they don't require grooming five times a day but as far as food, medical visits, exercise, etc. I'd hardly call any dog "low-maintenance."

Or is it just me that thinks this? I should reply back about the shiba...I wish my site was up & running already so I could just link them there :(~

I guess they're low maintainence in terms of grooming and feeding, but I think they make up for it in damaged household items ;)

Well no dog is low maintenance if you want him to be happy with you I think... still need to walk a dog, play with a dog, make sure he is eating correctly (which is not always easy with the picky eaters that shibas can be), groom them when they are shedding, hoover the place as well quite often if you don't want to live constantly in a hairy place (and take out the hairs of your clothes LOL), check their ears, teeth, etc and go to the vet when necessary.

So this is certainly a person that do not know shibas and actually dogs in general that wrote that.
