    Oh man Brad, Lani is so photogenic. The one of her face in the sun is awesome! There are a couple face shots of Loa and Ahi that are great too.

    Nice flowers. As amazing as your place appears to be through pictures, I'm sure they don't even do it justice.

    I agree Dave - Lani is beautiful. I have a hard time getting good pics of her tho because she is so dark and when she sits she has the silliest posture.

    For example, here is a pic I took today that shows her brindle really nicely, but her posture is so strange in it...

    You know...when I compare Ahi to Loa...I think Ahi has this naughty look to her eye, whereas Loa is like "I'm innocent!" lol~

    Such beautiful ladies! And nice flowers as well. I agree Osy and Even... Ahi has a great look about her that just screams rebellion. :) I love it!

    Well, I think you are all dead-on w/ your "reading" of the Shika's faces. Loa is really sensitive and sweet - can't raise your voice to her at all. Ahi is a trouble maker - she is very "real", she doesn't sugar coat her feelings or back down for anything... but really she just wants to have fun. Ahi is also surprisingly sensitive, she reads dogs and humans really well.

    Rui - Kona is freaking out, he doesn't know what to do with himself. Next week will be the hard week tho, when Loa starts to really attract the males... then Fuji will follow the next week, and then Lani the next.

    Amazingly Hilo has been unaffected by the girls since his neuter - he would usually be ready to KILL Kona - this would be his "angel becomes demon" time, but he doesn't seem to care - at all. It's kinda nice. :o)

    Awww, poor Kona. Some day he'll get to use his weapons. :-/

    Hooray for Hilo! Even if I have no idea what an angle is, it has to be less bad than a demon. :-P

    Brad - have you ever heard of using chlorophyll to mask heats? I just read about it yesterday. It could help calm Kona down. :)
