A wart? A pimple? we'll find out at the vet later in the week :(

I'm really hoping it's not skin allergies; but Mylie has a small growth that looks like either a wart or a pimple just beside her belly above one of her back legs.
It doesn't seem to be painful for me to touch it, but she'd really rather I didn't.

Probably a button tumor.....common in young dogs. It may be red or pink at first later it turns gray and usually goes away on its own.

It's good to get it looked at though just to be sure.

Never heard of a button tumor before, but let's hope that's what it is. Good luck at the vet Mylie!

Beebe developed papillomas (little warts) in her mouth and around her vulva when she was a baby but they go away as the immune system strengthens. She also got little staph infection/pimples on her abdomen from licking which went away with neosporin and acne wipes.

Tsuki gets sebaceous cysts her neck. When we used the collar more than the harness she would get them. They also fade fairly fast.
Here's a comprehensive list of causes of solid-appearing lumps and bumps on dogs. A lot of it seems rare and scary, but usually with house dogs, its a common little thing like the button tumor or a simple cyst.

Thanks for the suggestions, I am pretty much clueless on this subject... I'm pretty worried about it. My fiance keeps telling me that I'm overreacting and he's more than likely right. As long as I'm not working tomorrow, which I'm still unsure of... We'll be taking a trip to the vet to get this thing checked out. I'll keep everyone posted.
