Yeah. 4 shibas in a normal living-working situation is most def. difficult and draining!!!!!!!!!

My advice is unless you can stay at home, earn an appropriate wage and build a heavenly compound like Brad and Jen - stop at 2!!!!!!!

Both Jen and I are home, with our dogs, at least 75% of the time. I work from home and Jen is a stay-at-home dog-mommy. It is VERY RARE that our dogs are home alone for more than 4 hours at one time. When we are not home our dogs are in crates.

I think the majority of the people on this forum are SO JEALOUS of those who get to be home with the dogs more than a few hours a day. I look forward to the years when I am a stay at home mommy, not only to human children, but my beloved dogs.

I would love to work from home - right now, I'm just thankful I work a 4 day week.
