Hiking & Rainy Day Spam!

It rained a lot for the first time in who knows how long. This was actually the first time it's rained since we got Ninja (almost a year ago!) - He seemed to like it! Anyways - for our walk in the morning on that day -it was still drizzling...so I figured it's time to bust out the doggie raincoats!

Since John has a 4 day weekend - we decided to go hiking! We went to 2 different spots on different days. And we plan on going on another tomorrow!

we got really tired going up and down through the trails - so we took the easy way back on the horse trail/bike trail...hehe

    Hey is that Back Bay I see there? Romi, you've got to tell me your hiking places. I'd love to take Ichi through some of that stuff. Being raised in Alaska, I miss hiking!

    Hey Jesse - yeah, the one we went on yesterday is Back Bay. The one before is O'neil Park in Trabuco Canyon. Our neighbors told us of a hiking spot in irvine - we're going to check that one out tomorrow...you're welcome to join us if you want :).

    Fun! I must be way out of touch but I had no idea people made doggy raincoats!

    Great picures! Portia and Ninja look so happy on their hike. I think their raincoats are quite fetching.

    Hahaha...well I'm meeting Nobu and Delilah at the Irvine dog park tomorrow at noon. I'll have to take a raincheck:)

    Photos look great! I'm actually thinking about getting some of those harness', I really like them. They look comfortable and snug on the dogs. Oh, and those raincoats are adorable!

    What time are you going tomorrow? I don't have any plans, Lynx, Kei-kun and I would like to tag along! Give me a call or send me a text. If possible, give me like a 2 hour advanced notice.

    So, the hike was actually today! I didn't realize the post was dated 19 hours ago (Saturday) at the time of my posting, lol.

    Anyways, it was fun! Actually today I did really well walking two dogs, the dogs did well too. Still kinda difficult to get video and photos. So I didn't get very much.

    I was trying to get a size comparison of the two but Shoushuu wouldn't stand still long enough!

    Sorry for the delay! The hikes we went on was the best hike I've been on so far! I was really stoked that there were actually places to go uphill and downhill and not just flat. This was the first time i went hiking with the dogs without john...he ditched me to go golf with my dad! Corina - you have awesome camera skills! I can't believe you got a pic with both dogs looking your way! Thanks!

    Heidi - the harnesses are the Ruffwear Web Master Harness.

    Here are the pics and vids I got from our Hike on Sunday at Peter's Canyon.

    Next time we will have to check out the other trails...and maybe go earlier...I got 3 huge mosquito bites!
