When you see something like this, doesn't it make you wonder how/why so many people [like Cesar] associate dogs with aggression and dominance? It kinda implies that dogs are simple and their social structures are held together with aggression... Then you see this, clearly they have a far deeper social structure than that. right?
That is horrifying and someone actually was filming it....how disturbing.....I hope it was a traffic cam rather than a bystander who did nothing!
Let's not get anthrophomorphic though on what you actually see.... Does "dog eat dog" mean anything??
Seriously street dogs will become opportunistic. Unless there is proof otherwise (or more details to the story we don't know), I imagine the second dog was probably taking up the tasks that crows do around here before high way crews get to it.
Very sad and strange what the news will pick up for fodder and twist it.
Snf
PS: I have seen a dog bounce of the tires of a speeding car and live so lets hope the dog pulled off the side of the road survived. We can always hope.
