So I figured it would be fun to just have a thread to post pictures / videos of everyones dogs every once in a while, since there are people (OSY) who are always looking for a spam fix.
I just cant imagine having more than one shiba face staring at me, trying the shiba mind control. I love it. I keep showing Chad all of your photos Jen. Of course we would love to have the freedom to get another pup right now but we will live vicariously through you and other multiple shiba owners.
having multiple shiba isn't all its cracked up to be! they are a handful! but while they are individuals, they believe that great minds think alike, so I'm becoming a sort of novice at anticipating their next move. Its thrilling, but I keep telling my husband that our next dog... whenever that is... is going to be an EASY breed!!!
Osy speaks and I listen. Some are bad quality because they are camera phone pics. It is hard to get good pics od Sasha (scared of camera) so we take what we can get. First day we got her (can you tell how big she was????) Now a repeat pic but her after picture (minus 15 pounds)
Im sorry for soiling you Osy...LMAO. Thanks, Sasha is pretty damn special. If you didnt know her story...she was a bait dog with her sister, rescued and then went to another home that kept her locked up in a small crate with her sister and only had human interaction once a week if that. Living in rain water. Her front paw was in such bad shape her foster mom took her to 8 vets before she found someone who wouldnt amputate. She had severe mange all over her. The foster mom thought that she would never be able to find a home for her due to fear and anxiety, she had her a year (her sister was adopted right away). They would have to open her crate and leave the back door open and leave the house in order for her to go outside to go potty. We have had Sasha now 2 years and the change in her continues to amaze us every day, she is getting younger and younger and more carefree. The first day Chad didnt think we would be able to keep her, he then tolerated her and now he cant (as I) imagine life without her. You guys getting me started on her....I am so honored to have her in our life and be able to be bystanders to her amazing life.
Aww, that is a great story Rachael! I love Sasha's face. Those Rottie mixes have such adorable faces. Our dog we had growing up (lived to be almost 18) was a lab/Rottie/GSD who knows what mix and he was the BEST dog ever and I know he is the reason I have such a love for dogs. Yay to you and Chad for taking her in and turning her into the gorgeous dog she is today. We love Sasha Spam...And I love the name Sasha (it was one of my Huskies names as well.)
