Dog Star Daily has declared January "Shelter Dog Prevention Month" and has released this book for download. I hope this will be especially helpful for those of you with new dogs or those of you thinking of getting a new puppy, but I'm sure the more "experienced" members will appreciate it too.

    Thank you this will be so helpful for some of my mother's neighbors who have just gotten 3 JRTs puppies at once. They had no idea what they have gotten themselves into (LOL). They thought with one of the dogs being handicapped (deformed rear legs) it would slow it down. Hah!

    Anyway, thanks so much for sharing!!!!

    Three JRT puppies at the same time?! Why would anyone do that to themselves! Well, I hope they survive, lol.

    Yeah I was thinking the same thing! Who knows I guess ignorance and feeling sorry about where they came from....byb.

    Thanks! I have just finished reading Jean Donaldson's Culture Clash and she constantly refers to him... This will be my next read!
