Another coat blowing question

edited January 2009 in General
Mika is starting to blow her coat again! Her second time in the last 5 months. Keigo, on the other hand, has not blown his coat since late spring of last year! In the past, he has blown his summer fur, so I'm not certain why this has changed. Any ideas?

I would bet it has something to do with the stress from the move.

maybe she didn't like the way it came in the first time.

    :)

But Jessica's right, its probably from moving. We moved this past September and our shibas had already blown their coat late spring/early summer. When we moved, 2 of the 3 started it again. I definitely contribute it to the stress of the move.

That makes sense! Keigo hasn't taken the move very well. His tail is still down often, he hasn't played with his squeaker much, he sleeps in our bed every night (didn't really like to get up there very much before). The only time he's happy is when I'm paying attention to him. However, I have noticed he's taken to humping Mika on a daily basis. Previously, I could count on one hand the number of times he's mounted her.
