Himiko is so cute! She looks so playful in that clip - reminds me so much of Loa! CUTE!

Oh, and Piggy.... *melts from cuteness.

omg jess!!! Miko is such a funny girl! She looks so excited with that ball!

piggy is so sweet. I want to cuddle with her!

BTW - You need to get a vid of her snoring. I will try to get Portia's snoring...she has been snoring for the past week. I always forget to bring my camera up to bed though...we will have to have a snoring contest!

Miko was really enjoying that tennis ball, huh? It never stood a chance.
Piglet is so cute and sweet, and she looks so comfortable.

Ahh Jess, those are great! I want to visit!

Oh what cute videos, makes me want to nibble on their ears...;)

Jess, I love your dogs. Miko is beautiful and Piglet is just fabulous. They look like such lovers. Do they still mourn a lot? I always wondered about that with dogs.

Your gals are wonderful! I just want to come snuggle with Piglet. :)

And I am so jealous of Miko in the snow!

My crush on Miko has just been rejuvenated! She's so adorable! I love how playful she is.

And Piggy. What can I say? She's just awesome!

    Oh, Piggy...I just...*melts*

And Miko is just too cute with her ball!

Thanks guys! They are amazing. I didn't get to tape Piglet in the snow because she slid across the floor and started favoring her knee again so she got a little Kong and couch rest.

Kristin-I am not sure how much they mourn now. We work so hard to keep them on schedule and so it is hard to say how much is actual mourning and how much is me anthropomorphizing my girls. I asked Jay what he thought, and he said "I think they feel his absence, but as long as they are in their routines they do okay."

Also sidenote...we got them those Himalayan chews (after Miko pooped out a CHUNK of Nylabone and I freaked). They LOVE them. Although Miko (whose jaws are stronger than my pit bulls) goes through a large one in one sitting if I don't stop her. Piglet takes 3-4 sittings to go through a large.

Great videos!!! I miss the girls! Hopefully, next time, I'll get to spend more time with Piggy.

That is understandable Jess. Im glad they are doing okay and they both look great. Miko looks great in the snow. I hope Piggy's knee is okay. She is so cute cuddled up under her blanket!

She is walking alright now. I think she just felt like scaring the living crap out of me. Maybe Joey sent her a memo...I hung up the phone with Dave where he was telling me about Joey scaring him with his pukiness and I turned around and she was limping. Then after dinner she was just fine. Little punk.

Awww, they love to test us! Glad she is okay.

    How cute!

Joey appreciates the sympathy from Piggy, but he said to tell her to stop doing that to her mommy!

Thanks for sharing the videos....I am glad they are adjusting....although I am sure they miss their Shiba buddy.
I hope one day maybe there is a possibility to bring another in that needs a place to call home.

Give everyone an extra squeeze, I am sure the limping means piglet just needs an hug : )

    Snf

I agree with Osy... I feel spoiled to see the cuteness in action!!!!! :oD

Piglet is too adorable for words!

Sorry I'm late to these - they are gorgeous (but you know this already) - I'm glad the routine is helping - I believe that they do mourn/grieve.

Please keep us spammed with more vids - it's great to see them in action.

    They look fabulous :)

Thanks for the Himalayan chew review - I've been considering those for a while.

Cute videos. I like the Himalayan chews but they are special treats. We get a lot more mileage out of cowbones for the price.

A snoring piggy video would be pretty awesome.

Snoring video may be tough. Since we started cooking for the girls she snores far less frequently. But now that I know my phone takes okay videos (youtube compresses the crap out of them) I will try to take more.

Speaking of strong shikoku jaws, I'm surprised that tennis ball survived to the end of the video! Rakka always chomps the ball once and it is toast.

Both of your girls are super cute.

That ball is amazing. She typically destroys tennis balls in one chomp. This one has outlasted them all.
