Your house must be 'bigger' up close, I think it looks tiny compared to the land and sky that surrounds it. How do you keep all the dogs inside comfortably?!!

I was thinking the same thing Jen!

Brad - How many Sq. Ft. is your humble abode? It looks so tiny from the pictures!

Brandon - Thanx! I was noticing the little dots of dirt in the pics... I figured it was time to do a cleaning but had no idea how.

Jen & Kristin - Our home is kinda small - it's 1400 Sq. Ft.

That's not a bad size Brad. You just have a lot of company all the time!

Brad you can find online tutorials on how to clean your sensor. It's really not that hard. Nikon and Cannon almost always publish that you should send it into the company, at least they publish that in the US. In Japan they sell their own kits for cleaning your sensor, apparently they think Americans are to stupid to figure it out.

If you don't have a rocket blower, I'd get one of those two, great for getting dust off of lenses and sensors and whatever else. You can take them around much easier than a can of aerosol spray air.

Creation of fort knox is an interesting enterprise. Wow.... it looks like he is thinking (LOL).
Not sure if that is good or bad : )

    Lets hope it works

You know, perhaps it's the Kai we should worry about. What if he decides to climb some trees ;-)

Great video! That doggy behaved like he had climbed a tree every day of his life! Amazing!!!!

Yeah, I hope that keeps him in (be a good boy Luytiy!). I think you'll have an easier time keeping him in though, since he has a heavy build.

I have this problem with Lynx as she has already jumped the brickwall in my backyard (it's just under 6 feet though). She'd clear 8 feet as well. Crazy dog, lol.

Good luck. The fencing looks great! It really does look like a fort, that's awesome. Looking forward on seeing the finished project.

Well, we made a bunch of changes to the fence over the past 2 weeks. We officially completed Phase III(a,b,c) and Phase V (skipped Phase IV). This work added some more space for the pups, changed the wire in some areas of the fence, made things more secure, and improved our livability here on our dog ranch.

If your interested in seeing pics and etc, instead of posting all the changes/additions here, I'll just point you guys to the blog post I made about it:

WOW, it looks HUGE and great! I am sure the pack really loves the extra space!

That is just so cool, and I am incredibly jealous. I would love to have all that land to dedicate to my pups.

it really looks good! So, where's my tipi going?
  • edited November -1
You're going to need a CCTV system to keep track of all that space. :-)

Fabulous blog, Brad. Your doggies are very lucky and looks like they will have all the room they need to roam, while staying protected. Thanks for sharing

Looks great. I didn't look at the plans....Just thinking.....Are your gate openings wide enough for mowers to get in to cut the sagebrush?
