"War" and "Peace" With Tosca / Funny Story I'm Sure Osy Will Enjoy

edited February 2009 in Shiba Inu (柴犬)
It been a pretty lazy couple of days, but I have cute spamage. The first set - War - depicts the epic battle between Tosca and her archrival... my right slipper. The second set - Peace - is the result of my attempt to wash my quilt. Tosca sleeps on it and wherever I put it down she'd find it and lay on it, so I put both the quilt and her in a laundry basket. Incidentally, in the last shot you can see a slipper by the laundry basket. It's the left slipper and therefore completely safe from Tosca.

my slippers have shiba crafted 'toe holes' now, an improvement really.

LOL too cute! I like the "over the shoulder" throw in the fifth pic up from the bottom. Honey does that and it cracks me up!~

Hmm... I wonder why the right slipper is so much more evil than the left slipper?

And she looks so cozy in the blanket in the laundry basket. :)

Awww... pets are do good at doing laundry, aren't they? My cats can't stand to see clean clothes without a layer of cat fur on them!

Well, Romi, us east coasters are COLD, it's not 70 degrees here like in SoCal!

So true, Kristin, so true. Currently, it's a frosty 16 degrees F outside my door. Tosca loves snuggling in blankets. A few times I've been awakened by her trying to get under the covers at night.

The war is out weighing the peace today. Tosca slipped on some ice during our walk and after that she just wanted to go home. She wasn't injured but she is more energetic today. She has a new shiba game for me to play with her. She is currently attached to my right foot trying to pull my slipper off and every once in a while she'll pull me with enough force to spin my computer chair and then around I go. I think she thinks this is fun because she then repeats the process by grabbing the leg of my jeans. Tell me, does one call a podiatrist or a veterinarian to get a shiba inu removed from one's foot?

I tell her to "leave it" and she'll let go and sit... and then repeat the process until she gets bored. I think a longer night time excursion is necessary. I was thrilled because she doesn't bark at me as much when I'm on the computer. Now she just comes along and spins me around a few times and thrashes my slipper. I'm not sure how to look stern and commanding in this situation. Any training ideas? Has anyone ever had a shiba that figured this out. I'm caught a little off guard because it started about twenty minutes ago.

I wonder how hard Osy's laughing now. Osy, see what joys you'll be missing by not owning a shiba: getting spun around at random while you're at your computer and, of course, vengence poo. (Sorry for reminding you, LJ! I think it may be legendary by now.)

    Tosca is adorable doing laundry!

About the spinning chair....I think you both are having too much fun so even begin to stop it (LOL).

    LOL that's is awesome!!!!

I wish Keiko would spin me around... but the most I've trained her (by that I mean she's trained me) to do is 'type' on the keyboard... she uses her nose and sends AIMs to all my friends. I think it's adorable, they think I'm insane :o)

Who knew that my legacy on the internet would be about vengeance poo? I think the spinning thing is pretty cool and am glad she's finding ways to entertain herself.

Looks like Tosca has taken to "cocooning" through the long cold winter just fine! Love the pics in the laundry basket, and sounds like the right slipper has survived to fight another day! What fun that she has a new game to play...

By the way, where is Osy? She has not taken the bait! Hope all is well!

I LOVE IT!!!! lmao!!! I wonder why Tosca has created such a vendetta against your slipper! Awww, she's so cute!!!

& Nancy, you know I will GLADY take spinning chairs & vengeance poops everyday if I must! lol [ tho the chair spinning HAS to be fun! You need to set it up as a ride & charge admission :p I'd like to go for a spin! ]

I think Tosca has read "The Art of War." [ or perhaps she secretly wrote the book ] lol ;)

The Laundry basket picture of Tosca reminded me that when Miso was a puppy he used to nap in my laundry basket...
