The pups are all moulting, so when we all went outside today, I took along the deshedder and undercoat rake so I could get out some of that fluff. Well, of course when I had my back turned Isaac grabbed them and started brushing the dogs. That's okay, since they can just run away from him if he's bugging them. Then I said, "hey Isaac, we're going this way," to which he replied, "I'll be back. I'm brushing the dogs," and ran in the other direction. Of course, he wasn't just brushing the dogs. He had the deshedder totally loaded up with mud. I guess at the Isaac School of Grooming, slathering mud on a dog is a form of bathing. Well, I didn't really think I was going to go outside today without getting a lot of mud dragged back in, lol.
Oh Heidi: Ike is just adorable! He is just a serious little man about taking care of those doggie's coats! And I know from like with my son at that age that there is nothing like a sea of mud to totally preoccupy a young man --- so many things to do with the mud and so much the better to have some tools to use at the same time!
