Well I was going to go on a nice hike with Kona today, but...

It appears he is limping now, it just started today. He is also holding it [his left] leg] up and not putting weight on it.

He has done this in the past and we have taken him in and found no issue. So, we will watch it for 2 days and see if he improves, if not we will be off to the vet for xrays again.

*sigh. I hope he didn't tear his rotator cuff too. :o(

    His front left leg or back? Hopefully it is just a strain. And it will clear itself up with a bit of rest.

    Yikes, hopefully he is just being a drama queen and it is nothing serious. Either way, I hope he is feeling better soon!

    Sorry to hear about Kona, poor guy!
    Is it possible that he stepped on something like a small piece of rock? Or he got hurt rough housing with Loa or Fuji?

    I hope he feels better soon.

    It is his front right leg. It's not swollen or anything, but he still doesn't want to put a lot of weight on it. This is why I am concerned it may be his rotator cuff as that is how it showed in Ahi. If that is the case, and I where to guess, I would guess he probably slipped on some ice while playing with Loa.

    Hopefully he will be better tomorrow, we have kept him pretty inactive today.

    Kona is still limping today, nothing has changed. I guess we will be getting him into the vet soon.

    Kona is not limping today. So hopefully he had just bruised himself or something. I'll keep everyone posted.

    Glad that he is not limping! Hopefully it was just a strain and he is back to normal. Silly boy, I bet he missed out on a great hike Sunday. :)

    Well, Kona started limping again yesterday and so he is at the vet getting xrayed. Hopefully nothing is too messed up.
