Nanook Spam - more pics added!

edited March 2009 in General
As requested, here's some spam of the little jack russell that stole our hearts. We intended to just foster her, but we couldn't withstand her wily charms and spunky attitude.

In this picture, she is biting Skella's tail. Skella wags her tail in a circle (we call her windmill butt) and for some reason, that tickles Nanook just right. Luckily, Skella doesn't seem to mind.

Here she is on the porch. There was a nasty, bitter wind so I couldn't get her to go anywhere. She needs a doggie sweater or something.

    what a little girl!

Cute little girl. Yeah, she will need a coat to keep up with your other dogs in the cold weather. I know a JRT who wears long underwear (like Jessica has for Piglet) and they allow him to go out and play in the cold. At least you have all that land and dogs to try and help tire her out. JRT's are a handful.

agreed, JRT's are a handful! But you've got your land and your kids (fur and non!) to help tire her out!
    Congrats!

    She's a cutie!
Hopefully the other pups and the kids will be able to tire her out. JRT are like AAA batteries :-P

Oh yeah, she's a handful! Luckily, she's not afraid to wrestle with Rakka like a big dog and they are both benefiting from it. I love her spunk. Nothing phases her, either. Isaac likes her carry her (and I'm letting him because he's being gentle) and she takes it all in stride. Although, he did put her in the garbage can once (oy vey), but even that didn't phase her.

Also, I just remembered that my mom gave me a sewing pattern for dog clothes a while back, plus I have a bunch of microfleece and bamboo/organic cotton fleece to make clothes from.

She looks rather spunky! :) She should give Isaac a run for his money.

Congrats on your new addition. She is adorable. And can not wait to see the spam once you make her a jacket!

awwwww... Nanook is very cute! I have never been a huge fan of that breed, but I can see why you fell for Nanook. Very cute pup!

She reminds me a little of a creamie shiba pup for some reason.

Here are some more pictures of her. I made her a sweater in a jiffy this morning. I didn't use a pattern because I knew my kids would just screw things up if I tried any pinning or cutting along the lines, so I just eyeballed it and threw it together as fast as I could, lol. Don't mind the mess or the fact that I need a new couch, lol.

Don't worry, I took it away as soon as I took the picture. I just thought it looked cute.

Brad - I like jack russells as much as the next dog. Noah's always really liked them. He has a very elite list of dogs he'd considering owning (the rest of the breeds all have "fat dog syndrome" or "stupid face syndrome" or "grandma hair syndrome" or some other "syndrome" that makes them un-ownable according to him) and jack russells are on the list.

I need to get a picture of her with a bone. The bones I give my dogs are twice the size of her head, but she loooooves them! It's the only time she sits still!

Brandon, we only had the pop because Noah's mom was over for dinner, I don't drink it.
